I had to chuckle at that because its a very good point. The U.S. has become cluttered with rules and regulations that stifle growth and inhibits creativity. The federal register continues to grow at astronomical rates. And the lawyers have a field day.

Here it is more like what I imagine the U.S. may have been like in the "good old days" in some respects. But not really because we do have crime, we still have to lock our doors, and we have traffic, and pollution, and sophisticated businesses and technologies. So we have all the trappings of complexity without the talent to manage it properly. I don't know if this makes sense but its late and I'm groggy.
