Ouch, did Ballmer really say "embrace and demolish"? That seems like quite a slip in a public statement, although hardly a surprise when you try to dig beyond the MSFT sloganeering and P.R. The stuff you've paraphrased also seems to blow the lid off the whole "ActiveX is open" charade. "Embrace and Extend" always made me think of a boa constrictor anyway; "seduce and suffocate" would be more honest while maintaining the required alliteration. Cheers, Dan.
