R/O IRA investing is a unique situation.

I can only buy-sell stock and sell covered calls. No puts or naked calls allowed. I can buy-sell as much as I want without tax consequences.

I do all the option stuff in my cash acct, which unfortunately is nowhere near the size of the stock accounts.

My problem is simple. I'm holding the shares for at least a few months, but watching daily as I always do.

My call hold/sell decision is completely separate. I can sell the Mar '30s on Tuesday, no problem. If we get a short-term drop after
earnings, I can buy back June options. If no drop, I still have
Mar '25s and Jun '30s.
