To all: I have someting to say about SGI We are entering the "information age" -- one of the most dramatic transformations in history -- when all of human knowledge will go "on line." The distributed model of processing that makes the internet work requires simple processors today -- not so tomorrow! We will need servers that can deliver video, picture telephones and massive amounts of information. SGI is years ahead of the competition and has the engineering prowess to stay ahead technologically. I acknowledge that they have a crappy marketing plan, and foolish, sometimes greedy management. But I don't lump SGI in with Apple and Atari. I may be throwing my money away staying in SGI, but at least I am betting on the best machines for the future. Anybody that doesn't buy more at these levels is a Luddite. The market (and SGI management!) may take more time to mature, but if this company goes broke, then by God, so will I. --JD
