His command comes every day to everyone. It is His word....
Steve you have misunderstood my post....Sorry it was probably my doing.
I am right where God wants me at this time in my life, He is continually with me, and I pray always to be obedient to His commands.
I have no bad feelings for anyone, forgiving comes easy for me. Every lesson in life is a learning experience.And if I should face any bad experiences, it is always my own fault, I look no further... False teachers are a dime a dozen, they are in "season".And they can only have those who look to them for guidance and teaching, they pray on the unlearned, and their tactics are an abomination in keeping their flock "unlearned"....Very cunning
Now in most cases it is just a matter of they themselves being unlearned. Many do not set out to mislead, they Love God and are sincere in their ministering, but they themselves in many cases, are unlearned and are not even aware of it, but nonetheless, pass on their unlearnedness to their flock...
And God is not surprised at any of them. He speaks volums about them in His wsord, from Genesis to Revelations.
I too was raised on "God is love and loves all",& "God is all forgiving."... even muslims learn that.
The point is Steve, that we, all of us, are responsible to God for either knowing or not knowing...God will handle ALL accordingly...and He will start at the pulpits!.....
Now don't go putting words in my mouth my dear brother. I thank God for teachers, preachers, apostles, and evangelists. God know this world would be long Dead without them. There are absolutely fantastic ones, men and women of God, I know many personally, and they are true servants ofthe living God. The best ones however, do not tell us what God has said, they "show" their flock how to truly know what has said....This is the sign of a true teacher, preacher, pastor.
There is more to God's word than any of us will ever know, while we are alive any way....and we must get past the milk and into the meat or we ahall never mature...As wonderful as salvation is, Thank you Father,...there is so much more, so much more. This world is filled with baby christians who have been saved for 10, 15, 20, and 25, years
and still only know that "God is love", and there is so much more to our Awesome Father and His Son And His Holy Spirit....and the plan of God...John 3:16 is a most important and profound scripture, and it is only the beginning, not the end.....But this is the end of this post..
