AdvancePCS (ADVP) A good old fashion uptrend!! What more can a guy want? When I look for stocks that offer swingtrade potential the single most important factor I look at is the trend. I want to buy uptrending stocks. ADVP is as you can see by the chart an uptrending stock making higher highs and lows. Over the last few days ADVP has pulled back from new highs forming a bull flag pattern on the daily (those of you who are members of the Real Time Trading Room will know I have a special love for flag patterns of any kind). Pullbacks from new highs present buying opportunities. Look to go long shares of ADVP if it trades above 57 5/8. Our initial stop will be rather wide under 54 1/2 B
