Perhaps the wording of the release can lead to different interpretations, ie:

"...Mr. McInnes was President and CEO of LSI Logic
Corporation Canada Inc. leaving that position in 1994. LSI Logic
Corporation of Canada was a controlled subsidiary of LSI Logic
Corporation a Fortune 500 company listed on the NYSE. "

LSI Logic may indeed have been a Fortune 500 co. back in '94, and perhaps this is the message intended to be conveyed.

Nevertheless, I think the above is of lesser importance than this part:

"Mr. McInnes brings to the Cybersurf management group additional
strength with his years of experience in the high technology
industry..."

This can only be good for CY.
