Partial Statement from FONX on the Global News Network Press Release: SALT LAKE CITY, May 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Fonix(R) Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: FONX), a leading provider of natural-user interface technology and voice solutions, today commented on a report issued by Global News Network concerning company business. While the May 7 story accurately reported on several aspects of Fonix business, all of which had previously been publicly disclosed by Fonix, PR Newswire has determined that the release did not meet its format guidelines. Specifically, the issuer of the release was not registered with the NASD, nor did the issuer comply with standard news release formats. Therefore, PR Newswire issued a clarifying statement on May 8th at 8:25 PM EST. The release by Global News Network was neither initiated nor sponsored by Fonix.
