A person joining an organization is equivalent to being an integral part of killing almost 3000 people? Some how, I don't quite get the direct analogy there.
From what I have read and heard, there is a lot of money going to Palestinian homicide bombers from members of the Saudi royal family and much anti-USA/Israeli sentiment in the press over there, so why are they not just as much a legitimate target as Saddam?
