Oh man, its even better than that! I was once a delegate at the RNC and I'm still active in my local Republican party.

As I've posted before, I'm a moderate Republican (not many of us left - Rudy Giuliani, Christine Whitman, Arnold to name a few). I think the religious fundamentalists and their social agenda is a cancer on our party.

I am a fiscal conservative (the opposite of Bush). I am for a strong defense, but with restraint and only used as a true last resort (the opposite of Bush). And I am pro civil liberties (the opposite of Bush).

These views used to represent the mainstream of the Republican party. But now I am in the minority of Republicans.

Some of the older posters will agree that the Republican party has changed dramatically. The younger GOP'ers probably just want me to leave. So much for "inclusion".
