Hi Lee,

Eindy racing.

I've seen them on TV also.

It just is not the same for me.

I'm displaying signs of getting old and stuck in my ways.

We went to Elkhart Lake last night. At 5:00 o'clock they let any of the race cars out on closed road circuit and they do a lot of reving and making of noise.

Admittedly I hang with a bunch of gear heads who all have later model Corvettes. One of them is restoring a 64 Chevelle convertible and has just had a new floor welded into it. He's the most daring of car builders ( besides me).

Twice while watching about 100 of these race cars of all sorts, I heard the comment, "All that race fuel smalls so good".

The greenies have a long way to go before they snuff out the internal combustion engines.

Ainta gonna happen! I hope like heck!

The American public still has a love affair with the automobile.

I hear it every weekend going on at Road America. I live about 6 miles from the track. It is far more active with race events than it ever was going back 50 plus years.

Makes me want to go back today!
