Kash, Re: Flash pricing and long-term contracts

This is from the Q3 CC (from the excellent word for word transcript from JC):

jc-news.com

Q: Let's say that, if I look at the spot market pricing today, and let's say, in the first half of next year if the price were to be 50% lower than what it is today. How will that impact the pricing for AMD, and secondly, where -- at what point the collar comes in?

A: Well, it turns out, that would have minimal impact on AMD. About 80% of our business is now under long-term contracts. Actually, approaching 85%, I've just been advised. So we really have very little impact from changes in spot market pricing.
