Whip, This guy has done some good work in the past, but he has run into a stonewall much more often than he has won. He simply doesn't have the votes and the number, usually 2/3s or 75% to approve open ending, is a monster, especially when most institutions simply vote with mgt. on their proxies.

So, my recommendation is you buy a fund you like anyway, and if it open ends, that's a bonus. But you don't buy a crappy fund hoping for open ending.
