Yes ... Drew has had a hard time eduacating people inside of Novell about his vision. They just don't seem to understand it. The management seemed to latch onto this "directory" concept and can't expand beyond it ...

I think Gates does get it though. Not surprisingly there are a number of NT appliances on the works..

They showed the core ICS, also some software enhancements which provided content filtering and modification. Examples were the "Akamaizer" which would dynamically modify content, on the fly, so that it would be compatible with >Akamai's network.

Nice.. now..at what point would CSCO feel it has to *do* something about all this??

My theory is that NOVL will be taken over by one of the following : CSCO, NT, LU

He also showed the SSLizer, more commonly known as secureMe, and also a high-performance storage appliance called Aquarium.

I am sure there many many potential customers salivating over stuff like this..

On another post you commented on instant messaging. I see that now AT&T is getting into internet telephony big time and in particular is partnering with MSFT to probably to re-create things like e-guide. The question is what is NOVL doing about it?
