Myers was an instructor at the Foreign Service Institute for almost 20 years, either full or part time. As such, he helped create the State Dept culture of disdain for America and Americans. Like liberal academics elsewhere, he would have used his position both to propagandize and to aid like-minded careerists and hurt personnel with opinions he hated.
