Nancy, That sounds like it may be the link to the site I found in my search. I have many verses from Matthew about the second coming that put their theories out in left field. The very same information is confirmed in Mark, and Luke. Since these were direct disciples that lived, ate, slept, and were in constant contact with Jesus, I tend to consider their words as irrefutable Gospel. I also notice, that many people seem to consider the KJV of the Bible to be the most accurate, and in the language of God. First of all, the KJV was, basically, a copy of the Roman Catholic Bible, with some slight differences to suit the beliefs of the day in England. The language that was used was nothing more than the old English used at the time of James II. There is nothing more Holy about it, than modern day English. Another problem to be considered with the KJV, is that they did not have the translation techniques that are available today, or the Dead Sea Scrolls, or the clay tablets from the library in the buried city of Ebla regarding the times of the New Testament. IOW, there are more accurate editions of the Bible than the KJV.
