Here's my take on the show if anyone cares: <<<Childhood vaccinations save countless lives. Potential killers such as small pox and diphtheria are virtually things of the past in this country, thanks in large part to our nation's aggressive immunization programs. > This is why the medical bureaucacy is scared stiff of the mounting evidence: <'what's behind the puzzling jump in the number of children being diagnosed with autism?' some parents-- and a few physicians-- believe there may be a link between certain vaccines and autism. > Watched the show, and it was great to see the subject brought out on such a high profile show. Unfortunately they only touched on the 'cure' for the condition, and went with the more spectacular sideshow of the medical community [who has no clue, clearly] vs Mom. They also had some clowns from AAP and MRK can get on the show and say there is no scientific link between the two [as if there have been all these studies done and reviewed... sad]... and the MRK rep went to far as to say that 3 vaccines at once are better than one at a time, so as to spread them out and try to avoid blasting the kids immune system to smitherines... that part was sick. As if anyone can't see the real reason is that some kids won't be given all 3 cause it's a pain in the butt... and it would probably cut into MRK's profits as well. The case study was interesting, and pretty standard: little boy suddenly, becomes increadibly sensitive to everything + loses milestones & function.... 'comes back' from the brink after dietary and other intervention + time... and he starts to return to a more normal state... food and air allergies fade, body gets stronger. Am I missing something here, or is it as plain as the nose on that jerk from AAP's face that something blasted the kid's immune system into orbit and now he's slowly recovering... and further more wouldn't vaccines be the obvious place to look??? DAK
