The thing is: Apple has for long announced the PPCP platform. Customers are playing the waitting game. They have been highly encouraged to do it... This is why getting out a Macintosh PPCP machine "est une course de vitesse et de precision".
But I believe Gil Amelio already knows this. But a big ship, in a tempest, near the coasts, is rather difficult to steer...
Anyway If Amelio cannot do it, nobody will.
