Ever see the episode of Seinfeld where Kramer bought a bunch of stuff from COST and then fed the horse that he was loaned some canned beans??

ROTFL Tom. I remember that episode.

I normally can't get out of the store for less than $125. I'm always seeing things I need (who doesn't need a dozen pairs of socks?).

At the store near me (the "flagship" Issaquah store), they've started using self-scanners. You insert your card in a display and it activates a hand held scanner. You scan your goods and then get to go through the "express" lane. The scanner spits out a receipt and the do occasional spot audits to keep people honest. I tried it the other day; works great.

Take care.
