RE AMD affect on INTC, I saw something similar between
Syquest and Iomega. Iomega is rapidly expanding their
presence in the industry, and has very solid fundamentals,
but Syquest's mere presence in the industry seemed to
affect their performance. When they released bad numbers,
it affected Syquest's stock, but didn't really directly
translate into a positive gain for Iomega. But when Iomega
announced a lawsuit against them, I think it did (if I
remember right) more.
