Hi Del, Of course I know you weren't out here advocating affairs! And certainly not one so tawdry and tasteless! I was just thinking tonight that really if a leader is going to commit these acts, he needs to do so with some flair, with style! Shouldn't a presidential paramour be someone with class, wit, education? A princess, a Nobel prize winner, a diva--like Callas to Onassis. Now, THAT was an affair!! But pizza and cigars just don't provide much passion and glamour. I try to picture Bill on the moors sobbing Monica, Monica as the wind wuthers around him. It just doesn't work-he has on running shorts and he's eating a Big Mac. How about Monica penning her "Sonnets For the Hillbilly"? Let the world's sharpness like a clasping knife Shut in upon itself and do no harm in this close hand of Love! No, I can't seem to get her off the phone where she's giggling with Linda Tripp. I envision him renouncing the Oval Office for the love of his life, our own American Duke of Windsor... whoops-well, no but he'll get her a job out of town. Maybe I just see too many operas.
