Many of the information sources which have made me money are pompous (Kudlow), geeky (Jim Grant, Kurt Wulff), paranoid (all the gold bugs, William Fleckenstein, Marc Faber), sleazy ( T. Boone Pickens, Thom Calandra)
or raving (Gary Kaltbaum, Jim Cramer).
Of the normal, pleasant people I would count John Bollinger, Louis Navillier, Dan Niles, Martin Pring and a few others.
Many people have ideological, political, social , and God knows what internal motivations for what they do.
Sometimes sorting through this means dealing with people who should have been on the X-files. |
