<<Does IBM have the capacity to produce if WDC switches its orders from RDRT to IBM?>>

Gilian Munson specifically asked that of WDC in the CC last week. WD's response was that they certainly would not have entered into the agreement unless they were comfortable with IBM's ability to deliver product.

Y'all need to remember that WD specifically said that 50% of the MR heads delivered last Q to WDC were from IBM and that WDC expected that the share could go up if the relationship is as successful as expected. They also mentioned at one point that they found it hard to believe that IBM could enter into another relationship on this scale because of the volumes that they expected to ship.

This is not a small volume arrangement. This is a big deal. The market is not overreacting to this. It is a disaster for RDRT and APM.
