Some drug laws may be excessive, but obviously we disagree on the general proposition that drug laws are bad, and therefore you can hardly expect me to agree that they are a good target for nullification<g>...Similarly, my assessment of the sagacity of the people seems to diverge from yours. But if you are so confident about the public's common sense, why not rely on the normal political mechanisms to change the laws?
