Chuck, of course Canadians and everyone else in the world can use stops. The Toronto stock exchange is not exactly over the counter trading.

PS My discount broker won't let me use stops on NASDAQ. Gotta watch the market like a hawk.

PPS I rarely use stops because I feel it is worth watching the market like a hawk anyway when you are involved in speculative issues. And it's amazing how many times the market will come down to take out yours and several other people's stops before bouncing right back up again...pure manipulation of course...
