Almost everyone is a racist (except me of course). I have tolerated racists all my life. I do not silence them, even if I could. As long as they talk, and taunt, and quarrel, I'll be there arguing with them. My classes are full of them. Japanese who despise the whites for locking up their parents in WWII and for a-bombing their cities. Chinese communists who resent the Marines occupying northern China after WWII and then killing them by thousands in Korea. Koreans and Japanese and Okinawans who hate Americans raping and killing their women. Blacks who resent their ancestors' enslavement. Palestinians who hate Jews. Hawaiians who despise Republicans for seizing their nation. Now admit that most people are racists, more or less, at least a bit. Shall you silence them? Shall you control the content of their speech. The Constitution says no way. And so do I.
