Ted, > That's dirty? Pointing out of the principles of a candidate?

Running negative attack ads is not "pointing out the principles of a candidate." Instead, they border on libel or slander.

Davis pointed out that Riordan was not as conservative as his GOP label suggested. That's true. In fact, he bike rides and parties like a Dem. There was no libel involved. Can I help it that GOP voters are so rigid they don't know a good leader when they see one?

> Since then, the GOP has gone further to the right making Republicans like Riordan even more an oddity.

The two "front-runners" for the 2008 GOP primaries are McCain and Giuliani, and both are being painted as "moderates." Who's the oh-so-dangerous ultra-conservative that you fear, other than lame ducks?

McCain is not a moderate no matter the color of the paint......and he is more likely to get the GOP bid than Giuliani. And these two are hardly the only 'frontrunners'.....the others are even more conservative.
