Softie, I dunno.. We both know that INTC is a PR machine and knows the weighting of this report to their shareholders. If they pull a GLW then they are going to pay for it, all the way to the top. INTC has smart people running the show and they know that the street is ready to smash the stock, and keep it there for a long time when they do. You know though, it really doesnt matter, I dont think any 2-3 (probably not even that) point rally wont last, rallies dont last in the chip group since there is so much bad news and so many weak companies that are scared to give guidence. Funny how things swung so far in less than 1 year. I also have started to feel that the optics are finished in a general sense..meaning they are no longer a group that can fly in the future.. I had felt going back that there was still a chance for a 2nd leg, but there is way too many companies not making it and way too much supply. Oh, and IBM is almost a shoe-in for the red carpet, the street will not spank IBM unless they really dump it.. And if that happens we are hitting fresh lows in very quick fashion..
