Preliminary Additions: Russell 3000® Index

The Russell family of 21 U.S. indexes is designed to be a comprehensive representation of the investable U.S. equity market. These indexes are value-weighted and include only common stocks belonging to corporations domiciled in the United States and its territories. The Russell 3000 Index measures the performance of the 3,000 largest U.S. companies based on total market capitalization, which represents approximately 98 percent of the investable U.S. equity market.

This is a preliminary list of companies that, after applying Russell's objective construction and methodology, are slated for addition to the Russell 3000. The list is not final, and does not become Russell's official index membership until it goes into effect July 1. Ticker symbols also are subject to change. The final membership lists for the Russell 1000® Index, 2000® Index and 3000® Index will be posted here by July 9 after 5 p.m. PDT. (A list of deletions is also available.)
