"Romney seems to be the wildcard in 2008 on the Republican side" I think Americans will be learning a LOT more about the Mormon religion if Romney gets any traction. I don't think the Evangelicals will like him at all, and other Americans will have doubts. You may be right about Giuliani's strategy. It may work if his opponent is Hillary.
