A little light on the pro case? HG.

The pro case for HG, it's clear that China is doing an immense amount of research into graphene. They are working hard to incorporate the 'magic' of graphene into real things. Hg has the advantage of making pure graphene using acetylene combustion and not refining it w/ chemicals using graphite.

HG has the best and most pure graphene; it's one of only 4 companies in the world that have had their graphene certified by the Graphene Council. It is consistent, something other graphene makers have struggled with.

The units that produce it cost $350,000 US and can produce 10,000 tons per year at a cost of $50,000 per ton. They say they will sell it for a minimum price of $250,000 per ton. With more work they can upsell it for as much as $800,000 ton. They say their graphene is so pure that you can use less, a lot less to get the benefits you're looking for.

They do a lot of their research in their own labs, but it's also being tested extensively at the independent Graphene Research centre in Manchester. Many customer leads originate from that lab where companies go to get samples of graphene from graphene companies and to do research.

So here we are. They say. Can they do? CC linked a presentation last week if you want to hear it from the source. There, that's more fair I think.
