| Two things are necessary to make a freedom fighter: a plausible case, one that not only seems, on its face, a grievance worth adjudicating, but one that, absent a proper venue, is worth a call to arms; and, secondly, refraining from the deliberate and indiscriminate targeting of civilians, most especially women and children. In World War Two, the Allies resorted to terror bombing, in response to the tactics of the Axis, reasoning that they could not allow the Axis a free hand, but must respond in kind.
