Speaking of HUGE ego's..... What exactly did Uncle Frank do that has you so upset anyway? FWIW, I follow this thread & the G&K thread very closely. I also have Uncle Frank people marked.... one of only a select few folks who I follow on SI. The reason I chose to people mark him is because he is a great leader.... a great moderator..... a great people person. He has spent considerable time making the threads he started become among SI's finest threads. Sure that takes a certain amount of ego & a desire to exert some power. However, I have never seen him cross the line, nor be abusive toward anyone.... unlike some folks b-i-a. The only conformity he seeks is only that those who post on his threads follow a certain level of decorum so that the mission of that particular thread can achieve it's goal without unnecessary debate. The reason he tactfully attempts to achieve conformity is so that the thread can stay on course & those who follow/contribute to the thread can accomplish this without having to wade through numerous unwanted posts that degrade the quality of these threads. FWIW, when a thread consistently has posts that are not part of its original mission, it will begin to degrade in quality rapidly. Uncle Frank is a master at keeping a thread focused without resorting to egotistical power plays as you have inappropriately insinuated. If UF is sexist or racist, he does so in private. I am not aware of any overt words from UF that would make even an ardent supporter of the politically correct crowd flinch..... which begs the question...... where does that put you? bonus, you stir the pot & take extreme positions quite often. Your posts support that clearly. I think you are completely off base here. Maybe you need to back off & examine what exactly you are doing here on SI. Me thinks if you really took a close look in the mirror, you may wish to make a few apologies.... in public... & with real sincerity. Take it for what it's worth bonus..... it's jmvho.... Tim
