Take a look at INVN (invision). This is a good company with good technology for detecting explosives. The stock has jumped from 10 to 21 in the last 2 days. A look at the company shows that it has not had any earnings (loss reported last quarter), the equipment is expensive (1 Million$), and is slow for a full fledged use at major busy airports (scans only 250 bags per hour). It has been helped quite a bit by FAA so far. Although technology is useful and has potential it can't sustain its current value without earnings and public acceptance. May be good for long term but currently way overvalued.
