Kerry has been practicing his smile and Clintonesque warmth for so long that the act has become actual. He has really improved his people person skills.

Speaking of acts, notice how GW's Texas twang gets more exaggerated in front of more redneck crowds, then practically disappears when he's up north or in front of a sophisticated audience. Also notice how his ranch was picked though he doesn't like horses and how he clears brush like Reagan used to do. What I am saying is that Bush perfecting his act years ago.
