Jeff, don't get me wrong, I'm long VTSS(!).

But for the last year (pre-split) the P/E hovered between 60 and 80. There may have been exceptions during that time frame, and I don't live or die by that number.

It does, however, reflect what we'll pay for future earnings. PE is 107 as we speak.

I believe that reflects great future earnings. (as opposed to internet stocks which reflect great future losses <g>) JMHO
