Dear Blisenko: By the way, the way First Call is now calculating EPS, SUN's should be $0.30 for the last quarter. I cannot believe that they are allowing paper gains to be considered as part of EPS. Are we buying mutual funds here or operating companies.

First Call just did the same thing with CPQ INSISTING on using 19 cents rather than 16 cents in their writeup. So at least they are consistent. Maybe they have reason for doing so? I think that I could make a case that these cash rich techs, with their intimate knowledge of the field and the future CAN regularly make incredible investments and thus that is now part of their Modus Operandi? JDN
