My non-securities-industry buddies always want to tell me about the "trifecta" they hit on some obscure bulletin board stock, yet they never tell me about the 10 other losers they bought and lost their ass on. Yep, just like the track--everybody brags about their long-shot winner, and fails to mention how much $$$ they laid out in losing tickets to find that one winner.
