Thread, I copied this from Intel...just wanted to refresh everybodys MEMORY: System memory bandwidth is more important now than ever before. With the increase in processor performance, multimedia, and 3D functions, high-bandwidth memory is essential to sustain system performance. Memory subsystems must continue to support evolving platforms; therefore it is imperative that the memory roadmap evolve synchronously with the roadmaps for processors, I/O, and graphics. Leading this process, Intel works continuously with industry memory vendors in the adoption and support of new memory technologies such as SDRAM and RDRAM. I'm sure that you all have heard of Moores' law....surely you all haven't forgotten Murphys' law. glenda
