Eric, Thanks for posting the PC Magazine article on WebTV Plus. The fact that it will be available this holiday season is, of course, a substantial advantage. Microsoft is also providing various other forms of set-top boxes, to benefit from the possible bandwidth advantages of cable systems. [This was covered in prior posts.] These boxes are diskless to cut costs to the bone, and therefore require a greater degree of server interaction and power. They also will be Windows CE based, so the choice will not be a disruptive one [at least, not for those who want compatibility with other Windows environments]. So, the race for the non-PC households is on in earnest. Guess who my bet is on? < g > Best regards, Arno
