Check out this WSJ headline: "Apple Computer's top software executive resigned, raising fresh concerns about the computer maker's chances of overtaking Microsoft as the leading maker of basic software for personal computers." What? For the last few years, has it occured to ANYONE (even in their wildest dreams) that AAPL had a "chance of overtaking Microsoft as the leading maker of basic software for personal computers"???
