I got into Palm after IPO at on 3/6/00 at $70 and exited one week later at $67. It is at $45 today.

Funny thing Erick, I bought COMS at $87 in late Feb. just before the PALM IPO. I was just finishing TRFM at the time and was very excited about the concepts I had read there. Even though I was disappointed in the fall of COMS/PALM after the IPO day run-up, I had faith in Palm's long term promise. I was determined to stay with it so I decided to see this as a "buying opportunity". I was able to accumulate a nice position over the last four months at very low prices. ( It was a little schizo at times: good deal or death rattle?) Today, I am pleased to report that I am showing %40 gain in six months from my tightly held PALM portion of the spinoff and about %30 for the my lightly held COMS shares. It is interesting to note that this experience has served to strengthen my resolve concerning QCOM which is now the majority of my portfolio.
