I see page views, unique users, advertising revenue, number of advertisers, quality of advertisers (Microsoft, Intuit, At Hand--baby bells electronic yellow pages--each recently signed) all increasing substantially quarter to quarter. GNET's strategy also offers advertisers a better demographic (wealthier, more likely to make on-line purchases) than most web properties. Their recent acquisitions all reinforce the strategy. Obviously, time will tell, but, as someone who used to be in the industry, I think they are on the right track.
Matador, you are clearly a short on this stock--that's fine. I am short on some other Internet stocks that I don't think have as well conceived a strategy as GNET. But, please, give some facts rather than half-English invective to substantiate your opinions. |
