As you said about MSFT, the NC and Java have yet to prove themselves, so Gates may be right - time will tell. What did Gates say about the PC? Listen, I know you may not like Gates due to his capitalistic nature, which I can understand, but the man is very successful and it is not by luck. How do you think he received his "monopolistic position"?
