Independents have a very small coalition. I could only find two U.S. entries for the "Independent Party" at Wiki. One in Ore the other in Del. I like the Ore Mission Statement a lot: Mission According to its bylaws, the Independent Party of Oregon holds a number of positions. The party wants to increase voter participation and involvement. It advocates reform in specific areas of government, wanting to reduce the advantage of incumbency and the influence of campaign contributions on politicians and policy decisions.
