Hebrews 4:12-13
For the Word that God speaks is Alive and full of Power - making it active, operative, energizing and effective; it is sharper than any two edged sword,
penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and the [immortal] spirit, and of the joints and marrow [that is, of the deepest parts of our
nature] exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.
If it were us to decide, then we could make it what we wanted. the fact of the matter is God is the beginning and the end, and whether we choose to believe, or not to believe or to decide what we thing is the path, does not change the reality of the path.
Have you seen the movie "the matrix"
The people stuck in the matrix could make life whatever they wanted. To them life was governed by what they chose to do - they ruled their destiny. the reality of the matter, was that they were being controlled by the machines, regardless of what they thought. There is truth and then there is everything else. Do not kid yourself, there is Truth. And if there is Truth, there must be a Lie.
