Many many variables. There are always the patent attorneys as well. Ranbaxy for one challenges patents for drugs around the world. You also have to consider how few patients actually will receive the drugs. It isn't like blood pressure or cholesterol. These biomed drugs are as commonly used as many of the ailments are so very uncommon when compared to normal ailments.
