Icon stuff, Part 2:

If you change icons the 'easy' way, it takes more than a re-start to get them into place for Windows to use. Win98 uses a 'secret' file ShellIconCache in WINDOWS folder. To pick up the changes, right-click desktop, select properties, select Icon, change something, Apply, change it back, Apply again. You may also need to select Windows Standard. This should update the ShellIconCache file.
