OT watches: I am there with you - just cellphone, no watches. I hate to have stuff on my hands/wrists, it feels foreign and uncomfortable. So no watches, no rings for me. Not even wedding ring - so I can pick up hot chicks in bars. :P Just kidding. ;)

I thought about getting a pocket watch, but I don't do enough black-tie functions for it to be worth a while. :P I have some antique Swiss pocket watch somewhere. Might be worth a fortune, who knows. ;)

On my last trip to Europe, I read the "Watches&Jewelry" weekend section of Financial Times. Heh, I did not even know such section existed. And all these $100K watches, oh woe (sic, I wanted to type "wow", but woe is adequate). Some cool geek stuff though - there's some guy who used resonance between mechanical parts to make the watch even more precise. Really cool to read, but no, I won't buy it. I understand the accessory nature of these things though. :)
