I understand what you've said, but IMO there is no excuse for the blatant rudness and personal attacks exhibited by BIA. Words ARE building blocks. BIA professed (bragged) on many occasions that the use of words are her 'forte' (professional writer). It was not the words that she used that I objected to, but her intent. I believe her words were chosen deliberately and in such a manner to be hurtful. It is possible to disagree and yet maintain civility. BIA chose a different tack. The old truism- 'It's not what you say, but how you say it' applies here.
